Open Conversation with Members
Greetings, colleagues.
As you know, LeaderEthics-Wisconsin was established as nonprofit/nonpartisan organization nearly three years ago. The concept grew out of a series of conversations held with various community leaders, including many of you. In all, I had over 50 conversations.
LeaderEthics-Wisconsin has been very active since our launch. We continue to bring in some very good speakers for our quarterly events, though we now meet virtually. We recently collaborated with Great Rivers United Way to hold the Vote Safe Project (attached). We had a first rate panel of presenters. And we partnered with WXOW, WKBT, WIZM and the La Crosse Tribune to present the program via Zoom to Facebook Live. The event drew more than 17,000 combined views on Facebook Live! We recently released the 2020 Citizen’s Guide to Promote Ethical Leadership Among Elected Officials 2.0. The 2020 Citizen’s Guide offers practical suggestions for any citizen to be an advocate for ethical leadership. I have presented on this topic (face-to-face or virtual) to more than 40 groups and organizations, including some in Waukesha, Madison, Eau Claire, Menomonie, Wausau and Green Bay.
Now, three years in, I am seeking input through another round of conversations with respected friends, community leaders and associates. The purpose is to get feedback and discuss ideas for next steps. What are we doing well? Where can we improve? What should the next three years look like? I am reaching out to members with this invitation for an informal virtual conversation. Two sessions have been scheduled. If interested, please select one
